Commodity Appointments is an executive search firm that is focused on identifying future hires for select clients in the commodities sector. We use our extensive networks to find leaders, professionals and upcoming talent as well as to advise and provide intel around trends in the market.

We collect and process personal data with the intent of identifying and presenting suitable candidates for executive and board employment roles with clients who have indicated a requirement for such roles.  We hold and process your data under the lawful basis of legitimate interest. The data is stored securely and confidentially in our own company database and will generally include employment history, education, skills as well as contact information. There will also be a record of our conversations and correspondence to date, as well as any recommendations and views from the market. Furthermore, data may be sourced from public sites such as Linkedin and company websites.

Summary biographical information may on occasion be shared with our key clients for the purposes of talent mapping, for example, in a particular sector but we will always make contact with you in order to evaluate your interest before introducing you as a candidate for a specific role.

Commodity Appointments uses Google Analytics and Cookies in order to improve our service, user experience and analyse how the website is used. Aside from the approximate location (IP address), the information collected by Google Analytics is mostly anonymous traffic data including browser information, device information, language.

The collected information is used to provide an overview of how people are accessing and using the Commodity Appointments website. It is not used for any additional purpose, such as to profile those who access our website.

When you submit a CV to us, we collect the personal data you give us to be used for the following purposes and collated with additional data obtained from publicly available data, data from interactions with you and with related third parties.
