It’s probably no great secret that our CEO has an addiction to endorphins and seems to get his fix through pitting himself against various ultra-running challenges. There is a method to the madness however. Through his commitment to our charity partner his running has raised close to £100K for good causes. So, we’re finding that the business community has not only been supportive of his obsession, but actually put a whole lot of monetary donations towards it too. We have had some corporate support for his efforts as well. Product sponsorship from HUEL, for whom Jakob pledged to run across the Peruvian ICA desert fuelled on their powder based nutrition. More recently he was invited as an ambassador runner at the Half Marathon des Sables, a 125K multistage race, in Fuerteventura sponsored by WAA.
Since embracing running Jakob has managed a number of runs with clients in the US, Scandinavia, Singapore and Switzerland.
With a growing follower base across different social media platforms and his fondness of printed T-shirts we allowed him to develop his own brand. So Danish.UltraRunner was born.
